- What forms of payment does Wegmans.com accept?
Answer: We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and Wegmans Shoppers Club for Business with a domestic billing address. We do not accept credit cards associated with an international billing address. We will charge your credit card when your order is shipped. All prices and payment are in U.S. dollars.
- Do I have to register to shop on Wegmans.com?
Answer: You do not have to sign in to browse or make purchases in our online shops. However, there are a number of benefits to becoming a registered user including faster checkouts, having the ability to check your order history, ship the same order to multiple addresses/locations and also being able to save information/contacts under your user name for future orders. Customers who have already registered with wegmans.com should use the same login name and password when shopping.
- Can I place an international order through Wegmans.com?
Answer: Currently, we cannot ship orders outside the Continental United States.
- What happens if the website goes down?
Answer: Wegmans makes every reasonable effort to maintain 100% system availability, except during scheduled maintenance periods. Should we experience technical difficulties, Wegmans is not responsible for orders that are not processed or accepted.
- Can I ship items from one order to different locations?
Yes. You can ship the same order to multiple addresses, but keep in mind the billing information and all items in the order need to be exactly the same for all shipping locations.
- Can I ship to a P.O. Box?
Answer: With the exception of Wegmans Gift Cards, we can NOT ship to P.O. Boxes, APO's or FPO's. All destinations must be street addresses in the Continental United States.
- How will my order be shipped?
Answer: We use UPS as our primary delivery service. However, in the case of Gift Cards, we may send them out via US Postal Service First Class Mail. We offer the choice of UPS Ground Service, Express Service and Next Day Saver depending on the perishable nature of the product(s) you order. In order to handle our carefully crafted products with the care they deserve and to maintain the quality of the items you buy, all of our products are shipped separately.
- How can I figure out what my shipping cost will be?
Answer: We calculate shipping costs based on 3 factors: shipping weight, destination and delivery service. You can use the charts below to determine the cost for shipping an order containing a single item. We require our perishable items to be shipped via Express Service and our highly perishable items to be shipped Next Day Saver.We ship each product separately to preserve quality, however, items ordered together will receive a "bulk rate" on shipping. For multiple product orders, we charge shipping for the most perishable item and then add a flat $2 fee for each additional item. All items in multiple product orders are shipped using the same service as the most perishable item. For example:

- When will my order ship?
Answer: We process orders within 1 business day (24 hours) once they are received (we do not process orders on Saturday or Sunday). Normally, we will ship orders on the same day that they are processed. For example, an order placed on Monday will be processed, packaged and given to the designated shipper by Tuesday. The exceptions to this rule are that perishable Meat orders may take an additional 1 to 2 business days for optimum freshness. We will contact you directly if your order will be delayed for any reason.
- When can I expect my order to arrive?
Answer: The numbers in the table below represent the number of business days from your date of order that it will take for the product to arrive at its destination. We provide a range of dates since we only deliver on weekdays and perishable items must be shipped between Monday and Wednesday in order to deliver the product in proper condition. For multiple product orders, we will do our best to have all products arrive on the same day. However, because all of our products are shipped separately, actual delivery dates are subject to the schedules of the delivery service being used. Please allow up to 24 hours for order processing. - How is sales tax calculated?
Answer: Tax is calculated based on the location to which the order is being shipped. We do not charge tax for orders being sent outside of New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and Virginia -- the six states where we operate.
- Is it safe to use my credit card on Wegmans.com?
Answer: To make your browsing and ordering as simple and secure as possible, we are using a secure commerce server. However, we also provide alternate forms of ordering to allow our customers to use the method that they feel most comfortable with. If you prefer not to order online, please call us 1-800-914-GIFT (4438) to place your order. Our customer service representatives will be happy to help you. If you are not using a browser that supports secure ordering, you will not be able to (and you shouldn't) submit your credit card directly over the web.We make every effort to ensure that your personal information, including your credit card number, is protected while you are on our site. - What is Wegmans policy regarding the use of registered customers' information?
Any information you disclose to us (through an online form, email response, etc.) becomes the property of Wegmans Food Markets. Wegmans will not redistribute your personal information without your permission, with the exception of recipe comments submitted through this system. (Customer comments about recipes, submitted through the "Personal Meal Planner" system, are posted on the web site immediately, with no prior review or mediation from Wegmans.)
This site is accessed using email address and password. Keeping your email address and password safe aids in maintaining the security of this system and of your personal information.
- Do you guarantee products ordered on your website?
Answer: Our promise to you, and to those who receive gifts from Wegmans.com, is complete satisfaction, or we will make it right.
- What is Wegmans policy for returning items?
Answer: We stand behind the quality of all our products, and your satisfaction is always guaranteed. If a product fails to meet your expectations for any reason, please contact email@example.com or call 1-800-914-GIFT (4438) and we will gladly replace it or refund your money in full.
- If a dispute arises regarding my order, what state law will apply?
Answer: These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of New York, applicable to agreements made and entirely to be performed within New York, without resort to its conflict of law provisions. You agree that any action at law or in equity arising out of or relating to these terms and conditions shall be filed only in the federal, state or local courts located in Rochester, New York, and you hereby irrevocably and unconditionally consent and submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of such courts over any suit, action or proceeding arising out of these terms and conditions.
- How will Wegmans deal with fraudulent orders?
Answer: Fraud hurts us all, and we will prosecute fraudulent ordering to the fullest extent of the law. It is a violation of the law to place orders under a false name or with an invalid credit card. We have a fraud control system that screens for suspicious orders, which are subject to investigation and possible cancellation. Please be aware that even if you do not give Wegmans your real name, your Web browser transmits a unique address to us, which can be used by law enforcement officials to identify you. The FBI is responsible for investigating Internet fraud cases.

- What is your Gift Card policy?
Wegmans Gift Cards are like cash and anyone holding the card can use it to purchase Wegmans merchandise and services (with the exceptions of Lottery tickets and Money Orders/Grams).
Gift Cards Other Than Wegmans, prepaid cards and store value cards (“Cards”) have different terms, restrictions, fees and rules (“Terms”), which are (except where prohibited by law) subject to change. Carefully review each Card and Card carrier’s Terms before your purchase of a Card. Cards may not be used until properly activated. By purchasing/activating a Card you agree to the Terms stated for that Card. Except as prohibited by law, sellers in general have no responsibility for Cards issued by others, and are not required to refund, replace or provide cash redemption for such Cards.
